Three modes
Password, passphrase or PIN
Five ready-made profiles set a sensible starting point: Balanced 18, Work 20, Bank 24, Passphrase 7 words and PIN 6 digits.
Passphrase mode
Combine randomly selected French words with a separator and optional additions.
PIN mode
Create a random numeric code from 4 to 12 digits, without using a date or visible pattern.

What does the strength gauge measure?
It estimates entropy from your settings: the size of the character set or word list and the length. It is an estimate, not an absolute guarantee.
Can I exclude characters a service refuses?
Yes. The advanced options let you exclude characters, avoid repeated characters and start with a letter.
Does it work offline?
Once installed or opened once, the generator page is kept by the browser and can generate without a connection.
